Why should I join a tour?

What do I need for entrance to the Kingdom?

VISAS:
As part of the full reopening to tourism, Thailand is also offering a longer period of stay for visitors. Effective through to 31 March, 2023, the period of stay is extended to 45 days (from 30 days) for tourists from countries/territories entitled for visa exemption, and to 30 days (from 15 days) for those eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VOA).

Will I pay more if I book a tour vs going individually?
The opposite in fact... In many cases, you save more than you spend. You work within your budget & we always focus on making sure that you get a solid value in return for your cost.
When you get home to your family, friends & coworkers commenting that you look younger and/or happier because indeed you will feel this & you will feel this - the cost of this trip will become a veritable bargain. This is our truest hope & intention.

- Scams: Thailand is known for its high number of scams targeting tourists, such as overpriced tours or fake gemstones. When traveling alone, it can be easier for scammers to take advantage of your lack of knowledge or experience.
- Street crime: Pickpocketing & theft are common in tourist areas, so it's important to keep your valuables secure & be aware of your surroundings.
- Traffic accidents: Thailand has a high rate of traffic accidents, particularly involving motorbikes.
- Health hazards: Food & water-borne illnesses are common in Thailand, so it's important to be careful about what you eat & drink. Also, be aware of the risk of tropical diseases, such as dengue fever or malaria.
- Cultural misunderstandings: Thailand has a different culture & customs than most Western countries. It's important to be respectful & aware of these differences to avoid offending locals or getting into trouble.
- Personal safety: As a solo traveller, you may be more vulnerable to personal safety hazards such as sexual assault or harassment. It's important to be aware of your surroundings & take precautions to stay safe, like not walking alone at night, or avoiding certain areas.
- Language barriers: English is not widely spoken in Thailand & communication can be difficult, particularly in rural areas. It's a good idea to learn a few basic phrases in Thai, or to carry a translation app on your phone.
